We’re finally married! Or rather we’ve been married for 10 days, and enjoying every moment of it. The wedding was more than we could ever have dreamt of, praise God, and thanks to the so many of you who were there to celebrate with us.

We’re on our honeymoon in the English countryside now, and doing our best to not come online or do anything other than relax! So we’ll keep this short, and direct you to some photos that we have so far. Happy Birthday, Warren!!

Yes, that’s right! Warren turned 29 today and we had a really great time having dinner with both our parents and Warren’s sister, Stef. You may be thinking, no wonder we set our wedding date around May! Well, yes and no Coincidentally, our parents have anniversaries in May as well. Warren’s parents got married on 1st May and my parents got married on 2nd May! Heheh…it’s so cool cos we get to have family celebrations around Aril/May every year and it’s so much fun having meals together and just spending time with each other.

For me, celebrating Warren’s birthday is more than just a celebration of his birth. It’s a celebration of our relationship that God has blessed us with. It feels like he turned 26 just yesterday. And it was that very birthday when I was thinking to myself whether I’d ever end up with this amazing, wonderful man. Every birthday is sentimental for me because it reminds me how far we’ve come. From wondering and praying and worrying and longing…we’ve made it this far…we are going to become husband and wife…

So, happy birthday my dearest Warren. I can’t wait for the day (which is 2 and a half weeks away!) when I can say “I do”…and I look forward to celebrating many, many, many more birthdays with you Love you lots!

Our wedding is coming up in a matter of weeks! Wow, time really flies. I remember having a countdown that started with 300-something days. We do apologise for the lack of updates on our site. Some of you know, we’ve been really busy with the invites, the RSVPs and such. So much to do but it’s been real fun!

What I’ve realised is the amount of love we’ve been getting. Many of you have called up/ e-mailed/ Facebook-ed us to offer your help for the wedding. We are absolutely grateful for your care and concern. The best thing you could do for us is to come for the wedding, enjoy yourselves and be blessed

We also want to apologise to those of you who were not invited for the wedding ceremony in the afternoon. We and our families have actually decided to make it more intimate as we want to spend real quality time with our closest friends and family members. The dinner is a lot bigger and it would be really tough for me to spend some personal time with say, my aunt from London who is here for just a few days or my former cell group leader who can only come for the ceremony.

We really thank you for understanding. But on the bright side, the dinner is going to be a really, really exciting night with lots of surprises and memorable items on the programme so you will definitely not miss anything!

I will be updating this site more in the coming days to help you get a better feel of what it’s like to plan a wedding Please feel free to leave your comments and we’ll be more than happy to answer them as soon as we can.

The Beautiful Photos

We owe a great big thank you to a few people for the beautiful photos on this website. Firstly to Grace Tan, our dear friend who runs Integricity Visuals: she was there, along with her husband Alex, when Warren proposed to me, capturing the moments for us. Grace also took most of the beautiful pre-wedding photos that adorn most of this website, and she will be our official photographer on our wedding day. Thank you so much. We pray that God will continue to grow you and your incredible gift. We love you Grace! (and Alex!)

Secondly, to Choon Ean, thank you for helping us with the other camera at Carcosa. Without you, we wouldn’t have been able to see the expressions of our eagerly-waiting family members, and the view of the helicopter from the ground. The memories are priceless to us!

Thirdly, to Mark Leo, for the rest of the pre-wedding shots. We’ll treasure them for years to come.

We’re Getting Married!

We’re getting married! We’re giddy with excitement as we count down and prepare not just for our wedding, but for our marriage and our brand new lives together.

But first: we really want to say that we’ve been incredibly blessed to be where we are and who we are today. We thank God for His love towards us, and we thank Him for each and every one of you who have been a part of our lives.

Therefore, the 9th of May isn’t just our celebration. It’s a celebration of all of you, and a celebration of God’s love towards us. See you there!
